One of my favorite quotes is "if you live out of fear, your story will inspire no one. But if you live out of your dreams, it will inspire everyone."
"The reason a bulldog's nose is slanted is so he can breathe without letting go -- and once we're determined to achieve, we don't let go."
My husband is an artist at heart with a passion for writing, though he's had success -- and failure -- as an entrepreneur. We both love the medium of the written word; print lives forever.
We're both drawn to the ocean and its many mysteries; when we're in it, we literally feel like we're in the hand of God, because all people are powerless in the sea.
As much as we enjoy nights out with good friends, we also enjoy evenings at home. We love sharing a kitchen and cooking good meals -- even Mac and cheese on rainy days -- and reading and watching movies.
Often, we just enjoy being in the presence of our family, even if all of us are doing something different -- reading, working on the computer, watching TV, whatever. Just the presence of the rest of our family is both moving and powerful.
